Tuckpointing
The mortar between the bricks can crack and wear away over time. This is a very common problem and a solution that MCP technicians employ on a daily basis.
- Remove – Old, cracked mortar is carefully ground out and joints rinsed.
- Refill – Fresh mortar is tucked into the joints and sealed.
- Restore – Brushed clean for a strong, polished finish that lasts years.
Rebuild & Repointing
Chimneys above the roofline take the harshest weather, often leading to loose bricks or crumbling mortar. Minor damage can be fixed with tuck pointing, but severe deterioration may require rebuilding from the roof up. Serving Maryland and the Damascus area, we deliver quality work with full customer satisfaction.
