We had the owner and his son at our home to give us an estimate to install/convert our fireplace into a wood burning stove. With their advice, knowledge and guidance we decided to just replace are damper, clean our chimneys and install a stainless steel chimney cap. It was a pleasure having them come into our home and give us their honest expert opinion. We highly recommend speaking with them before making any changes and using them for their services.

Timely, professional, and very knowledgeable. Very customer oriented. Repairs and waterproofing were done sooner than expected and it looks great. Only negative I can think of is that the price seemed a little high for the small amount of chimney, but I don't really have any other estimates to compare it with. I would definitely use them again if needed.

Justin from MCP Chimney and Masonry was recommended to me by a friend who recently had a big rebuild done by him and was very happy. I only had some small fixes needed (damper, doors, etc) but I still was received warmly when I called about getting an appointment, and scheduled quickly. Justin came out today and showed us how to close the flue manually AND wrote an estimate for an all new damper if we want that. He also fixed the doors AND wrote an estimate for new ones if I want that. He charged us nothing for the hour he spent at my house, and left us with everything functioning for no charge, as well as estimates for upgrades if I want to do that. Highly recommend!

Justin showed up when he said he would. He was friendly and professional. He cleaned and tested the chimney from the inside of the house. After testing for airflow, he was not satisfied the job was complete. He climbed onto the roof in the rain[very impressive] to clean out an abandoned bee's nest, or hornets. He retested for airflow. It was a virtual vacuum sound. Great job MCP and such a reasonable price

MCP was recommended on our NextDoor site. Our neighbors' descriptions of their experiences with MCP matched ours. MCP was responsive, down-to-earth, respectful of our home and our needs. We purchased a fireplace insert that was recommended by the sales rep and it has met our needs for safety, warmth, and limited maintenance. It is easy to use--we've used it almost every day since it was installed. Installation took about 5 hours. The sales rep went over in detail the pros and cons of what we were considering. We chose MCP based on neighbor recommendations, our interaction with their staff, the quality of their products, and the fact they would be able to address any masonry concerns that we had. Installation was smooth-going. I highly recommend MCP as an investment in your home.

We were so impressed with the high quality of service and work we received from MCP. We ended up having a major issue with the inside of our wood burning stove and MCP went above and beyond to make sure that they could fit us into their busy schedule so we could have that heat source before the winter cold. We had MCP come out and inspect and clean our chimney. They were prompt, courteous and clean. Inspection showed we didn’t need cleaning. Tech gave us tips on how to maintain our chimney and didn’t charge us for the service call. Great local family owned business!

Great customer service, very knowledgeable, reasonable prices! Brandon did some troubleshooting on our fireplace/chimney on a Saturday, and I was impressed with how knowledgeable he is. Another company did some *cheap* fixes a few years ago and we weren't able to use the fireplace. In less than an hour, there was a roaring fire in my now-fixed fireplace, without smoke in the house! we got a pretty high estimate by the chimney inspector and when we asked around for recommendations to get a second opinion, MCP came as the highest recommended company. Ryan was able to come and meet us on a moments notice( we were under the gun trying to close on our old house) we discussed the options and worked a plan of attack for a much lower cost then the original estimate from the inspector. The whole fireplace needed to be replaced and I was concerned with the restoration work around it since the whole wall needed to be busted but MCP handled it all and the workmanship was great. They not only did the fireplace work but all the dry-walling and painting as well for a turnkey project, no need to get different contractors for wall repair and painting. I will say I highly recommend them for any chimney and fireplace needs. Below is a pic of the finished work

McP Chimney & Masonry diagnosed the problems with our chimney speedily, solved them fast, and suggested ways to avoid further trouble in future. They even helped prune back tree branches that threatened our chimney cap and flue.They were easy to deal with, fast to schedule, prompt, and did good work. If we have problems in future, we will definitely call them.

We used MCP for an update to our fireplace mantel and firebox. They did a beautiful job. I had ordered a custom limestone mantel from France. They did a superb job with the installation, and the ivory herringbone pattern of the firebox is simply beautiful. Careful work and attention to detail. Would definitely use them again and recommend them!

It was a great pleasure working with Ryan from MCP Chimney. Honest and very thorough work. This was our first time using a chimney service and the first company we used gave us some BS story of needing to replace this and that. Called MCP Chimney for a second opinion and thank goodness we did. The work provided by MCP Chimney was professional from start to finish. They even provided pics! They gave us an detailed quote on a gas to wood fireplace conversion where other companies would not even come look at it. They encouraged us to get quotes from other companies. In the end, we opted to not convert the fireplace and asked MCP to come repair our gas fireplace that another company attempted to fix but failed to get it working properly. Both gentlemen that came to our house were very polite and clean. The gas fireplace repair job did not take as long as expected so they did not charge us the full quoted price to look at it. I highly recommend MCP.

We had an excellent experience with MCP Chimney Services in November 2017. We were referred to them as authorized installers of the gas fireplace that we knew we wanted. Branden came out to consult on which type of mantel and surround, and he was very helpful in choosing one, and was able to get an estimate from the office, on the cost of installation, within minutes. The cost, including the materials and labor, was extremely competitive! Chance and Guy came on time to do the installation and after all the work was done, Chance stayed to explain the entire system, and make sure I could work everything, before leaving. The whole team was friendly and helpful, and we would work with MCP again in the future without any hesitation. They did excellent and timely work, finishing a big job in just one day.
